You and Brad really need to take something for that condition you have--BDS--Bush Derangement Syndrone. I think it's interesting that you care more about prosecuting Bush--who is NOT the enemy--then the very ones who have professed to want to wipe us off the face of the earth.

I also find it funny--(and not in a haha way)--that you are more interested in prosecuting Bush for keeping you safe, than the people who caused/contributed to the financial fiasco--Dodd, Frank, most of the democrats--and let's not forget THE ONE--that turned their backs on Bush and McCain when they tried to point out that Fanny Mae was headed for trouble. So before I get into the your BDS--lets's throw a few stones at YOUR glass house...

WHY AREN'T THESE PEOPLE IN JAIL????
(In a nutshell: http://ace.mu.nu/archives/273697.php )

I think that not only the CEO'S, but those responsible for this whole mess should be impeached, kicked off their cushy chairmanships of the committee's they are on, and run out of COngress tarred and feathered. The very people that were in charge of making sure this didn't/SHOULDN'T HAVE happen--are the very ones who are in charge of the distribution of the TARP funds!!!! Talk about the Foxes guarding the henhouse!!!

"Even ex-President Clinton admitted that the Democrats were guilty of destroying Fannie and Freddie... and responsible for the current crisis that threatens to bring the entire U.S. economy to the brink of recession: I think that the responsibility that the Democrats have may rest more in resisting any efforts by the Republicans and the Congress or by me when I was President to put some standards and tighten up a little on Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac"

"This entire scandal has the Democrats' fingerprints all over it. And Obama's right in the middle, collecting the most money from these people -- except the odious chairman of the banking committee, Chris Dodd, who by the way received "VIP" mortgage rates from CountryWide -- and yet the Obama camp and the media are trying to hang it on McCain and Bush. McCain, the guy who warned everyone in 2005 that we needed reform or precisely this would happen."

You guys want to talk about "cronies"--how about Frank Raines, and ACORN? How about former Clinton Budget Director and FNMA CEO Franklin Raines, who made $90 million? Or Clinton Deputy Attorney General and FNMA Vice Chair Jamie Gorelick made $26 million? Or Kerry adviser and FNMA vice-chair James Johnson, who pulled down $21 million -- in one year. WHAT I WANT TO KNOW IS--WHY AREN'T THESE PEOPLE IN JAIL????

"It is a big part of the Left's project to control the historical narrative. If you consistently roll over for them, they will consistently roll over you. Again I say: he who knows the truth has a moral responsibility to ensure that lies do not win the day. The amount of mischief that has resulted from Bush's refusal to take on the press has not begun to be calculated.

Damn him and his "modesty." Damn the liars who have taken advantage of his silence. Damn those who believe the lies. And damn those know that they are lies and spread them anyway." <a target=_blank class=ftalternatingbarlinklarge href="http://proteinwisdom.com/pub/?p=2588

Two of Barack Obama's key financial advisers are -- yep, you guessed it -- Franklin Raines and James Johnson. Here is a video linking The One with FannyMae: <a target=_blank class=ftalternatingbarlinklarge href="http://jaykeating.wordpress.com/2008/10/04/684/

I'll take Haliburton over ACORN any day! At least they were helping to build countries--not tear them down!

Years in Congress, divided by total Fraudie Mae and Fraudie Mac donations, to rank the top 15 recipients by $ per Year. Obama is winner by a ton--ANYONE WANT TO GUESS WHO COMES IN 2ND????
Bush tried 18 times since 2001, to overhaul Fanny and Freddy.
I will try to make it very simple, and short--and if you need--I can give it to you IN THEIR OWN WORDS!!!
**Democrats on the House Financial Services Committee blocked efforts at fixing Fannie and Freddie. Rep. Barney Frank (D-MA) said, "Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac... are not facing any kind of financial crisis,"

**At least 18 times since 2001 Democrats blocked efforts at overhauling Fannie and Freddie even as accounting scandals and executive ripoffs became public.
