NUK Quick n Ready Steam Sterilizer

I think that the only difference is that the NUK has an 8 minute cycle and the Avent is a 6 minute cycle. I have been using the Avent for about a year now. I run the nebs through a cycle just prior to use, and shake them dry in the basket the sterilizer came with. Adds a little more time getting ready for a treatment, but nebs are not sitting around anywhere collecting dust before use.

Does the germ guardian have a UVC light in it?

Like Kari, I tend to run our Avent right before we need it. If you take the pieces out as soon as the cycle is done, before the steam condenses on them, they dry very quickly and it eliminates the air-drying/nebs sitting out forever issue for me.

So you use both the Nuk Sterilizer AND the germ Guardian (link for the germ guardian-is this the one??: <a target=_blank class=ftalternatingbarlinklarge href="http://www.amazon.com/Germ-Guardian-NS-2000-Nursery-Sanitizer/dp/B000G27DHA/ref=sr_1_12?ie=UTF8&s=hpc&qid=1269393307&sr=8-12">http://www.amazon.com/Germ-Gua...qid=1269393307&sr=8-12</a> )

I really would like to get something like this. I assume this takes the place of boiling the nebs?
