You need to find out ASAP Vampy. If a urine test doesnt work for you then get the blood done NOW!

You know how difficult being pregnant was the first time. Dont fool around.

I hope you are prepared for the choices facing you. I have no doubt that if you are pregnant again that Lucas' father will use this as ammo against you.

Be prepared! IF you are NOT pregnant then damn it girl get on some birth control!

You weren't planning to get pregnant? Wow, I thought most women with CF had complications getting pregnant naturally. Hope I don't sound ignorant, just thought most women had thicker than normal mucus lining their cervix as well....AneJ1986

Well last time i got pregnant it was by accident. i didnt even know i was pregnant till i went to the er with backpain. I have a really mild case. shocked me too, i knew women had complications and had thicker mucus, and often had to go to specialist for help. And even if they did get pregnant, i often thought it would be a while before a cf person can get pregnant again, a span of years. its only been 15 months, not to mention the nine months i had carried lucas.

*forgot to add* How im feeling about this (to kelli) i havn't quiet figured that part out yet, I'm sorta happy because i want to have one more. If i am, I'm praying for a girl because i have a boy. I want a girl really bad! but then I'm scared too, because last preganncy i spent 3 months in the hospital and 5 on bedrest. I'm not worried about my boyfriend. He had a girlfriend he was comman law married and she was 3 months pregnant when they met, and so he knows how to take care of a baby. he makes good money and hes a sweet guy. So we should be fine there. But overall I'm not sure about how I feel. I do know, I don't want my *soon ex* husband and his divorce att to find out, they would have a HAYDAY with this. Prob try to say its his and take this one too! If i am ill try to talk to my lawyer and see if we can get this divorce going faster so by time i get a baby bump it will be over. HOPEFULLY.

So, a woman with CF should consider herself fertile and find a method of contraception to avoid pregnancy. In my work I meet many woman who thought they could not get pregnant - either lucky in the past or someone told them they might have trouble getting pregnant - and I am giving them the news of a surprise pregnancy.
