Oh poop! (almost)

I've been doing really well with my pancreacarb prescription. It's been one of those things that has made me think "where have you been all my life?" For the first time in a long time things are formed and not greasy.

Here's the catch. During my last hospitalization I got C. Dif. According to my cultures (you know, the yucky ones!) I'm clear of it. But now I'm having what seems to be a prolapse issue. It's not all the way out, but enough that it's really uncomfortable. When I wipe I just get mucus like I did when I had C. Diff.

Has anyone with C. diff noticed a recurring colitis issue? I'm not bloated or having any aches or pains where I did when I had a bowel obstruction, so I'm a little perplexed. I'm open to suggestion (and yes, if this continues to be a problem through the weekend I'll page the doc.) Anyone think some extra yogurt is going to help?

Off I go to look up a bunch of 'crap' online. I'll let you know what I find, if anything.

Yuck.. Sorry that you are not feeling well I hate poop issues.. and lately we all seem to be having them.. I have been treated for C Diff before though I don't really believe I had it..

Prolapse just hurts all together but there is NO Mistaken when you are obstructed.. That is the most severe pain I have ever felt..

I think Lacto Bacillius is great and or lots of acidolphilis..or how ever you spell it.. MY GI doctor that dx me with CF in the city told me to take something called Probotics and it was really quite good.. I just can't stand spending so much money on so many things..

Hope you feel better my friend..

I don't know about anything but the probiotics- Culturelle is sold at Walmart for about $16-$17 (cheaper than the website price) and you take one a day (I take 2 if I'm on antibiotics). I wasn't expecting much, truthfully, but it has made a big difference! A much bigger difference than the yogurt I eat at least once a day . I hope you are feeling better soon!

Here's to improved !

I have an article around here somewhere that Big Bee posted (I think). I'll look...

I've had C-Diff several times. I started using Bio-K and haven't had it since. Anytime I feel like it's coming on, I load up on the stuff big time.
