I can't believe I found this topic. I have been struggling with this for months now. I'm 43 (44 in December) and my 10 year old was just diagnosed last November. Up until last summer, I had lost 42 pounds. I was in a 14 and for me, looked and felt great. Then after a couple of hospital visits with Faith, I have gained 15 of them back. School has started so I run around alot, but no exercise. We get up at 5:00 am to start therapy and I usually go until 10:00 pm. I do blame it on stress, tiredness, and just plan not caring. It is definatly about portion control! I couldn't believe how much I cut out. I was on 1570 calories a day. It took met about a month to figure it out. I'm not watching my calories and I'm not exercising. When Faith goes into the hospital, I gain weight because I'm definatly not doing anything there!

Anyway, I'm not only new to the CF world, but new to this website. I would love to get on board with this blog, but I don't know how to do it. Could you help me.

Thanks and I hope this will help us all. I will definatly put my stats on there!
