Leah I don't have anything to add since the suggestions have been so good, but we had the same thing happen when our boys played baseball. In addition to the pollen, the field is very dusty especially if its windy. A few times we had to take the boys home because they were so affected. The fresh air and exercise is worth it overall, but some days its just too much for them.

Neither of my boys will be playing baseball this year for the first time since Josh was in t-ball 13 years ago.<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif" border="0">

Leah -- have you had him allergy tested and considered seasonal allergy shots? My 7 year old has awful awful spring allergies and we are just starting down the allergist route. Since he doesnt' have CF and I was never worried about it setting off something worse, we've dealt with it -- but he always needs a burst of prednisone in the spring to clear out his miserable allergy symptoms.
