Hello people

I'm new to this forum, I pretty much stumbled onto it while
searching the net for some info on Pulmozyme.

I guess a "quick" introduction might be in place. I'm a
30 year old norwegian CF-er, currently living in Western Australia.
I was diagnosed when I was almost four, after they figured out that
my, at the time, one year older brother had it. Being born in
Norway was a blessing I guess, free health care and all. I started
IV treatments when I was about 10, and since I was 12 or so I've
had IV treatments four times a year, that's just the scandinavian
way of doing it.

When I was 26 I moved to Perth with my girlfriend to go to uni. In
june this year I finished my BA in Design Photography, and as of
right now I'm pretty much doing nothing while waiting for my
girlfriend to finish her degree in Fashion and Textile Design. I
reckon moving to Australia was a pretty big step for someone with
CF, but I've made it work fairly well, many thanks to the nice
climate for that. Getting all the meds i need has been a bit of a
hassle though.

In six weeks time (after almost four years in Oz), when my
girlfriend finishes her degree we'll be moving back the the snowy
hell called Norway. Australia has been a blessing with its very
nice climate, as snow and winter has never been that great really,
apart from ice hockey and snowboarding of course.

Now that the rather lengthy intro is out of the way, to my
question:
I used to use Pulmozyme daily when I was younger, but pretty much
stopped because I'm a lazy *****. Lately I've been feeling a bit
worse and want to start again, I have quite a bit in my fridge, but
it has all expired (the pharmacy gave me almost expired product the
last time I got some). Normally I use meds even if they are
expired, like Mucomyst tablets and Creon, and it works just fine.
With Pulmozyme I'm not so sure though, it expired almost a year
ago, but has been stored in a fridge since I got it. You guys
reckon it'll still be good enough to get some use from?

Same goes for my Tobi. I haven't had an IV treatment for years, but
really need something to get rid of an annoying infection. since
moving here I've used Ciproxin and Tobi, but now my Tobi has
expired as well, about a year too. Reckon it's still safe?

Any smart suggestions welcomed. I guess I could wait until I move
back home and get a fresh batch of meds, but I'd prefer to be as
infection free as possible when moving from a
"comfy" 40+ celsius (104F) to -10 celsius
(14F).
