Wait, wait, wait.
I always thought the degree of your CF was to do with your age??
For example: A child aged 8, with pfts of 20% would be severe yes?
An adult aged 70, with pfts of 20% would be mild I thought?
Meaning that the 70 year old has lived 70 years with pfts 100% which have slowly come down to 20. I realise that by 70 he would be considered severe but doesn't age have something to do with it?
I'm useless at wording what I mean....<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif" border="0"></end quote></div>
nope. has nothing to do with age.
has solely to do with your FEV1.</end quote></div>
Age is already a factor in how the determine the FEV1. so an FEV 1 0f a 100% at 20 years may be 5.5 liters, but an FEV1 at 50 may be 3 liters.
