Questions to moms with cf

So....
Me and my fiance' Eric are trying to get pregnant. I went off the pill about 5 months ago. So far nothing. I'm almost 25 and want to be a mommy so bad! Its so hard waiting and i get nervous that i won't be able to have kids. All i want to know is how many women have went through this and what kept your head up? Did you have to go through more tests and fertility stuff? Did it just happen? Are there any secrets that you may have to help us become parents?

Not sure what it's like for a CF person in terms of average length of time to get pregnant, but I know the average for ANY couple is six months. You may still fall into that average yet!! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

It does vary like so much with CF.

Overall between a fiance, first husband & current (and last) husband.....there was 12 years of my not using birth control. I ASSumed it wouldnt happen.

I was only with my husband for 10 months when I got pregnant.

Granted we had a lot of sex LOL!

I went straight to fertility treatments. I got pregnant after 2 rounds of IUI. I was told I had very thick cervical mucus when I went in for my inseminations, which makes me think that getting pregnant naturally would've been difficult.

From what I've heard from other CF moms, some have had difficulties and had to turn to fertility treatments and others have not.
