Serevent or Advair

Hey thanks everyone !!!

I didn't know it came in anything different than the disc either. My daughter didn't like the powder so she uses Flovent.

My son is having some mouth pain - he says it feels like a sore throat on the roof of his mouth. I cannot see a sore like he cut it with a chip or anything, rinsing with hydrogen peroxide and using baking soda do not seem to help. I'm not sure what the problem is, but it did start the next day after starting the Advair. The doctor said he really doubts that it is the Advair but to go ahead and stop it for a few days to see if his mouth will heal up.

I read through the side effects and see "dental pain" but not sure if this is what they meant. He also said a couple of teeth feel weird too.

I did have to get some "Swish and Swallow" for the first time this year, because I got the lovely white coating and bleeding, cracked tongue from the afore mentioned yeast infection; might want to get him checked for that if it doesn't clear up <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif" border="0"> .

I did have to get some "Swish and Swallow" for the first time this year, because I got the lovely white coating and bleeding, cracked tongue from the afore mentioned yeast infection; might want to get him checked for that if it doesn't clear up <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif" border="0"> .

I dont know if you were told to do this or have read it in the directions, but wfter you inhale it, you have to rinse out your mouth to avoid thrush ( yeast infection in the mouth). I always gargle water twice after i take my Advair.
