It was emotionally tough as it marked the first time of many hospitalizations, and it was physically tough because its hard to keep a toddler like that entertained in a 12 x 12 room, be awake around the clock for her, hold her down for treatments and IVs....it hard, but you will do it!! Use the resources you have in your hospital. Child life will find you toys and play things that are age appropriate and can get you respite care while she's sleeping so you can go take a shower or get something to eat. I'm soooo sorry she's in-patient, but I do think you will be relieved to hear a difference in her breathing. (((HUGS))) You CAN do this!!!!
