As for the word "handicapped" or "disabled," those don't bother me at all. I know I'm a rare one, but I don't give a d*mn personally. Most people are just using the words because they think they're currently what's "PC." I can't stand PC garbage. Just use the damn word, will you? It doesn't offend me. George Carlin once did a bit about how stupid the new PC term "Differently abled" is. What the hell use is that? EVERYONE IS "DIFFERENTLY ABLED"!!!

I read a thing in some social work website that was had a bunch of junk in it and one of the things was "Never refer to a person by their disease. Example:
DON'T: Call someone a cancer patient.
DO: Call someone a person afflicted with cancer."

What the hell???? I don't know why everyone is so up in arms about all this PC garbage. I mean you personally, if you don't want to use the word handicapped, then don't. Easy as that. But would you honestly get offended if someone used that word for you/your child, if you knew they didn't mean it offensively? I don't personally care. As long as I know the person isn't doing it to be like "Haha, what a useless waste of human space, this piece of genetic garbage!" then I don't care what they call me.

I'm not calling down anyone here. I just personally can't stand the PC stuff, so if any of it sounds pissy, it's at the topic, not at anyone here. Haha.
