Sinus Migraines

I have been having a lot of sinus migraines and can't get into the ENT unti 10/30 and my CF Clinic appt is 10/31.

Taking Imitrex takes away the migraines, or at the least dulls them, however my insurance only allows me to take 7 Imitrex per month. Any ideas? I've found a TAD bit of relief from a hot moist washcloth on my forehead, but not much. Just wondered if many of you deal with these and what you do?

I don't have sinus migraines, just sinus headaches, but I am going to try today (just decided about 30 minutes ago, lol) to use my leftover Pulmicort in my nasal nebulizer and see if that helps the sinus headache go away a bit (my ENT said I could continue my nasal neb meds until I was sure I was past whatever my daughter gave me, and the pharmacist said that sometimes nasal Pulmicort helps with allergies)- maybe at least help it drain. I'll let you know how well that works as soon as I know! (getting up to get it now ).

That liquid Tylenol medicine for flu works well for pain and it knocks you out. Get the blue one - the cool burst. It also helps relieve some of the pressure.

If you aren't that deperate, you can try those Shower Soother things. They dissolve in the shower or bath and they help open me up.. As soon as I get in the tub with those, my nose instantly starts running. Helps get some of that stuff out of there.

I can't say that i have ever had a sinus migraine, but plenty of headaches. The only real thing that works for me is good ol' Ibuprofen. Nothing else really works for me, that I have tried.

Hope you can find somthing that works far ya!
