Smoke is VERY harmful to a CFer's lungs. There's no such thing as a mild case of CF, but only mild stages. Unless you get out of there and find a new living situation, you're going to find yourself in more advanced stage of CF than you want.

I wish moving out was an option when I was a child. Both my parents were heavy smokers their whole life, and neither (especially my mom) would even reduce the amount they smoked in front of us children because "it was their right" to smoke. I didn't care much at the time, but by the time I was 21, my FEV's were in the 20's. That finally opened up their eyes a lot.. Too late though. As far as the roommates, if they aren't respecting your health, you have more than every right to say something to the landlord. This isn't some selfish rule that's not being abided. THIS IS YOUR HEALTH. Sometimes you do have to put yourself first.

I was talking to him today (not about smoking) and he said hes probly going to be moving out to live with some of his buddies, I am gona give it a few weeks and see if the problem solves itself.
