Source CF pediatric vitamin drops

I used a 1 ml oral syringe instead of the medicine dropper the vitamins came with. A couple of times I'd get the dropper ready, walk across the room with it and realize it was empty. Having NO idea where the contents went or what it was going to stain.

Also gave it to ds prior to eating/drinking his bottle, when I'd have bibs and burp rags handy for spillage or spitups. And as long as I used shout or another pre-treatment -- the stains usually came out in the wash.

Thanks to everyone for the ideas! I heard back from the CF center too! I'm going to try feeding it to him through the bottle. (Hopefully it works!) We also went to the doctor and he was given prevacid to help with gagging and vomiting so this may help too!

We had the same problem - originally we had a vitamin supplement called AquaDEK - bright orange and smelt repulsive. Our baby just wouldn't swallow it. I mentioned it to our specialist, who prescribed a new vitamin called Oranol - this is 6 small drops we put into the bottle so our baby doesn't even know he's getting it. we have to give him extra vit.D, a substance called Tocopherol, which we give in a syringe. He doesn't love it, but takes it better than the AquaDEK. We live in Switzerland so maybe different drugs are available, but we're definitely better off with the Oranol.
