We have one and L O V E it. You will be amazed at what one of those things can pick up. They are the greatest. No soap needed. Just add water and go. No score knees, bad back. Oh and the best thing is throw the pad in the wash or just hand rinse it.

This is very appealing to me. I have one of those battery operated things with the cleaner & disposable pads (forgot the name <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif" border="0">) & I cant find replacement pads anymore.

WHat a pain.......

Are there different BRANDS of the steam mops? The one I saw was on an infomercial & dont recall the actual brand name.

I saw a commercial for a shark brand one -- think it was $79 and I've been meaning to post myself. Just use steam and throw the pads in the washing machine afterwards. We have laminate and hardwood floors and I'm forever mopping -- the swiffer wetjet just doesn't seem to clean as well as the mop & bucket.
