Hi Everyone,

Well, I'm coming off IVs on Friday after 3 long weeks and want to make a couple changes.

I usually require IVs every 1.5 - 2 years so hopefully I'll be good for another 2 like usual. However, I want to make somewhat major changes.

*Get back to exercising. I use to run 3 miles/5 days a week so I know I can do it. I stopped because I got lazy...Anyway, that is the first adjustment that I want to make. Running always made my lungs feel great!!!

*Add supplements. I want to take some in addition to my CF medications. I was thinking that maybe Flax Seed Oil would be a good addition. I'm guessing with CF that I probably don't have enough EFAs in my system. What else would you suggest?

Edited to Add: This really has been a terrible early 2008 on many different levels. It's time to get up and dust myself off.

Since I've started this, I don't feel tight anymore. It is also supposed to help Pulmozyme work more efficiently.

Arginine get's the Body producing Nitric Oxide.
Inhaled GSH because our lungs are severly lacking it.

If your looking for a good source of flax if you have a whole foods they have "Flax Plus" cereal by Natures Path that are pretty good 650 mg per bowl. I like the Raisin Bran and Red Berry.
