the numbers don't have any real correlation to the CF case per se. What is helpful to know about the number is it does represent how much more salt is lost through the skin, so hydration and salt intake is more important to people with CF and especially those with the higher sweat test numbers - they will dehydrate faster on hot days than anyone else. It is very important to have things like gatoraid and salty snacks on hand, especially when it's hot or doing an activity that will cause sweating (running, playing, sports etc) You may also see white, salty spots around the temples/hair line or back, underarms that sort of thing more too.
