hahah so guys, i was talking with some friends about tattoos (again) today, and i know we've had a ton of different tattoo topics on here...but i wanted to see everyone's, not just talk about them! haha, so if you feel like it... post here <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

if you need help posting... heres a start:
1) post your picture on a website (webshots, myspace, firefly (i think thats it))
2) when looking at the photo on the site, right click, go to properties, and find the box that gives you the URL
3) take this code: < img src=" insert image url here " >
... and insert the URL you just got into where it says.... make sure to leave the quotes and arrows!
but make sure to delete all the spaces between the < and "s, etc....

Here are mine - I'm going for new and bigger ink in July - scroll like vines with pink flowers flowing over my shoulder piece wrapping around onto my ribs.

This was my first one, its on my lower back - done in two different sittings.

This is my 2nd one, its on my right shoulder blade - I like to think of it as the dragon that's got my back - like my guardian angel.

The tattoo was really new in the photo I posted, so that's why its a bit shiny from the vaseliney stuff they gave him. Anyway, the tat took them about 8 hours and he had it done in <b>one</b> sitting! He was holding his breath nearly the whole time cause it was right over his ribs and terribly painful. He said it is nothing compared to what I go through though. Ahhhhh......

The ribs are the worse for tattoos and pain. I said I'd never get a rib tattoo again, and here I am getting another one on my ribs this summer.

ooh, I have a really huge tattoo on my back - I will post as soon as i can. I have a new computer and all my pics are still on the old one.

hey you guys, i was thinking about the tattoo i want to get...and i originally wanted the morton salt girl.. (salt...CF...get it?) but NOWW
i want to get a rose flower with a 65 in the middle (like blending in-ish) and then the stem be straight with thorns on it...and then a bar through it that makes it look like a cross. there are so many things i want to incorporate into it though, b/c i only want to get one tattoo, i don't want to be all inked up when im old. tehe.

i want to incorporate: my CF/roses, thorns/tears, sign of capricorn, and some sort of quote.

hmm.... so much thinking left to do :p

Thanks Diane! Would you believe that I don't like reptiles at all? LOL - I love dragons because to me they are protectors and are fierce looking, and I only have the lizard cause that's my nickname.

Sonia, I LOVE LOVE LOVE his tattoo. Both that he got it and it means stuff, and because it's awesome.

Fr3ak, that is frickin fantastic. I love it! And I usually really don't like full back tattoos.

Kate, do more than one if you want. (Duh, I just read you only want one... lol... beware when you get your first, they're ADDICTING!) You know I have my salt tattoo, and in May I'm getting another. It's going to be the open face of a rose, with my DeltaF508 above it and my 1898+1G>A below it.

i have one on the other arm too but its kinda hard to get both in the same picture because they are on the insides of my arms. id like more but i dont have the $.

Hmm. Glad the Van Halen logo and Girlfriend Number Three's name were only rub-ons. But the salty foot is clever. Certain compounds never go out of style.

I am trying to send a picture of my tattoo but not quite sure what I am doing so if my message comes through without picture, perhaps someone could explain in very simple terms how this is done.

My tattoo is a picture of a face that my son drew of himself as a teenager. He used this picture on much of his artwork throughout the years. When he passed away last May the first thing I had done was this tattoo and I wanted it somewhere that I could see it all the time so I put it on my arm.

I like the one that's in the 3rd row down - in the very middle. The one tht sort of looks like script. That one is very pretty. Cool idea!
