Thinking about requesting 2-weeks in the hospital

After a 10 day vacation last month (and not being able to do my vest), a busy schedule, and catching a cold, I'm not feeling very good. I'm considering a 2-week course of Tobi/Cipro or the alternative - requesting 2 weeks in the hospital for a good clean out and 4x/day CPT. My last hospital stay was January 2005.

I'll definitely be discussing options with my dr this week, but just wanted to get some thoughts from others. What would you do? Or, what treatment do you do when you aren't feeling well and you know PFT's are down.

Thanks for any input.

Thanks! I did read that article awhile ago, but I'm sure a re-read couldn't hurt. And, oddly enough, I live in Cincinnati and my mom, who is a retired teacher, taught the Blackwelder children.
