I started going to the gym monday. I walk one mile on the treadmill in 20:43. Then I ran 2 laps around the track, I didn't make the laps all the way around though w/o stopping. Well today I went and I walk one mile (treadmill) in 18:16 and I ran 2 laps but I did it w/o stopping. I was quite proud of myself for going in the 1st palce but the improvement really motivated me.
Well to the question, I was planning on adding in weights and maybe some pool laps soon but I want to integrate that slowly so as not to get discouraged. For those of you that exercise what things have you done that have helped to improve lungs function and have over all made you feel better???
