Just throwing my two cents in :

I am very sure that President elect Obama will do a Much better Job
that Bush did these last grueling 8 years.

Unions: when I was younger I was a Master Plumber, Pipe Fitter and Welder.

I worked on Union Plumbing Jobs and was in the Sprinklers Union as well
as The United Railway Car Union of America.
I can tell You this Unions do not Reward the Hardest Workers , as it should
be. As long as you have the time, You get the higher pay. If you screw up
you are protected< if said screw ups were happen on a Non Union Shop, The Screw up
would be fired.
At the Railroad I was a State Certified High Pressure Welder, Yet if some
Moron could strike an Arc and tac weld,( something that can be taught in minutes to a Monkey. well that person got the same Pay as a Certified Welder.
That is Whats Wrong with Todays Unions. They were a Good Thing Back in the
30s 40s and 50s;But They have Out lived there usefulness.

In any Union, No matter What it is is, Police Fire Teachers Airline
railroad Plumbers or What Ever Union, All Employees Should Paid on
the Quality of their Work, and Not Just because they Pay Monthly Due's..

I have a friend who workes at Dulles Airport,He works on the equipment
that is used to clear the runways, trucks, lifts .He makes 42.50 and hour.
He is a HELPER !!!!! He can't even change a spark plug in a lawn mower
with out help.. How do I know. I help him with with the New Truck he buys
every year and what ever fancy car he might have at the moment.

He gets paid for the drive to and from work each day ( 1 1/2 hours )..
Plus double for Over time.
And I know Others in Unions who are also over Paid. I know teachers
in the Union who are not fit to teach. But the union protects them.

Bottom Line. The Union's of today are Out of Control...
