Thank you!!</end quote></div>

Is she using her albuterol at least 15 min. prior to using the Tobi? I used to have a similar problem and that was what the dr. advised me to do. Now I have that probably with HTS, even tho I do the abluterol!

Some people continually have a problem with Tobi being too difficult for them and I believe there is another option for Neb. antibiotic, but I would encourage your friend to not give up yet. I have adjusted GREATLY to Tobi now.

Hey there,

I will be honest as I did NOT read all of the replies. I just wanted to add my reply before heading off to bed.

I used to rinse my mouth and brush my teeth after each dose of TOBI. Sometimes it helped and sometimes it didn't. One thing that also helped me some was to let the neb run for about 10-15 seconds before starting to breathe it in and putting the neb cup to my mouth. It wasn't so harsh on my throat. Again sometimes it helped sometimes it didn't.

Hope you are able to find something to work for you.

Debra,

I am a Speech Pathologist and I have some connections in the "speech world" with professionals who deal with voice therapy and training. I have put an e-mail out and hope to have some suggestions for you later today.
