total healing from CF

Richard, Hi.. I am not usually one to ever preach on here... to me that makes me want to vomit right on myself...

I actually went to a program for a few years where we learned a lot about the bible.. I still can't figure the bible out and I don't understand a lot of the scriptures especially about healing...... but I still believe that the bible is accurate.. I just think our understanding of it is not.

I don't blame you for not having any faith in God.. especially if you haven't had any personal experience with him.....

I never ever believed in God because growing up my life really sucked, as did almost everyone's to some degree.... so you can imagine that one day when my life was at it's lowest and I mean the lowest... someone told me that there was a God who loved me and I laughed at them.. I told them screw god if he does love me, what kind of "god" would let those things happen to me etc etc etc...

Anyway, I don't know how to explain it but this person said to me, "Fine if you don't believe in God then do me one favor, ask God to show himself to you if he is real.." I thought they were nuts... like what was he going to do.. show up in my mirror or something.. Really I was skeptical.... but what did I have to lose really?

So fine I asked God to show himself to me if he was real.... I kid you not.. I swear on my life.. the oddest things kept happening.and as much as I tried to chalk it off to just freaky, slowly over time I couldn't deny it..... So while I don't understand the bible that well, or even half well, or even a little bit... I do know for me that God showed himself to me in ways I couldn't deny....

Please forgive me if I sound preachy... I am not trying to convert anyone or make a believer out of anyone... Not my job.. just telling you I was in your shoes and what happend to me while I was there...

There is a story of a woman being healed by God of cf. Go to www.abbasheart.com and then go down to until you find Sandi's testimony and click on it. It is very long so don't skip parts...read the whole thing.

Not questioning the existence of miracles, but pity the story of sandy doesnt adhere to cystic fibrosis. So many things are just not cf related. Eye infections!!!! Something must be wrong. Its not a good example story to give. The reasons no miracle with cf has ever happened, is because cf is rare, and miracles are very rare and far apart. So stastically speaking if you do it with propability calculations, the propability for getting healed by a miracle if u have cf is virtually 0.

Another theory is that cf is a "new" identified disease. The Bible mentioned handicaps and not specific diseases. CF was simply non existant in diagnosis.

I'm not anti religion at all, mind you. I'm Jewish, so i'm religious myself. So analyzing this comes with no real agenda.

I have trouble believing the abba's heart thing because some things don't add up. Some of the symptoms and such she presents. When they discovered it, automatic o2 and a wheelchair? That desn't sound right at all. Psoriasis? Anyone on here have that as a complication? Losing vision in one eye? <div class="FTQUOTE"><begin quote>Pleurisy, Emphysema, Pneumonia, Strep throat, Tonsillitis, Pharyngitis, Laryngitis..</end quote></div>

Emphysema is nothing like CF, even in x rays and such, especially in autopsies. HUge diffrence between losing elasticity and blockage.

She said sometimes she'd faint dead away. Ry did this a few times, but it was always blood sugar related. And once when his lung collapsed. She makes it sound common. but that may be nitpicky.

And she says that both her son and daughter were ALSO miraculously healed of ailments, which makes her story sound more suspect.

and later in her story satanists harrass her and try to hurt her kids and destroy her marriage. Not demons, satanists, as in people. Weird.

Later on, she is diagnosed with a brain tumor. <div class="FTQUOTE"><begin quote>This brain tumor is a result of the Cystic Fibrosis and the Chronic Sinusitis is a sign that it has returned</end quote></div> this is supposedly what her doctor sid to her..I don't have to tell you all this is misinformation.

I have emailed her and politely asked what her mutations or sweat test figures were. Not that she can't look it up, but worth a try.

I am not sure that her story is legit...it doesn't seem to add up.

Well I am a Bible believing Christian, and I do believe in healing
miracles.  But that's in God's will.  Sometimes he heals
us spiritually to help us through things, and we learn from that.
He doesn't always heal us physically.  But remember when
Paul asked for the thorn to be taken out of his side, and God said,
"My Grace is sufficiant for thee"  He sees us
through.  I know people personally that have experience total
healing.  Not from CF, cause I don't know that many people
with CF.  I know a couple of people that were healed
miraculously from cancer though.  They were diagnosed,
biopsies done, and when they went in to do the surgery, they
obviously always do another x-ray or CAT scan or something right
before surgery, the tumor was gone!  In both cases!  We
always have to pray whether it is in God's will or not.  I
look at it this way, maybe God wants me to get sick sometime, and
end up in the hospital, and be able to witness to a nurse or
something.  Who knows!  Who is able to question God? I
think He knows just a little more than we do, and what is better
for us in the long run.  But if I have his grace and His love,
then I can deal with anything.  I don't really care about this
mortal body I have.....this will be taken away someday anyway and I
will get a new one.  I will pray for you that you will find
comfort in God's grace.

look .. god is not some puppeteer controllin us .. we are not pieces on a chess board.

if there is a god it is somethin we dont understand or have experienced cuz organized religion hasnt 'got it' ! in fact organised religion cuts us off from god.

religion, like all dogma is just that .. DOGMA !

dogma pushers dig their claws into us at birth and turn us all into dogma junkies .. we will go to war to protect our dogma/dogma pushers ... im afraid we are all sleepin on our feet.

there is a god .. and its not a bloke who 'reveals himself' to prophets ! we are all prophets and there a re 6 billion different paths to god. 'it' manifests itself uniquely in all of us.

dismiss your religious leaders (dogma patrol) and tear up your holy books . god doesnt need any salesmen or instruction manuals .. we do gods will by default.

when you drown out the back-ground noise and rediscover who you are .. you will find you will heal yourself .. but certainly not cure. we are biologically unviable , kept above ground by a cocktail of medication. cowin down to a 'superman' aint gonna achieve diddly squat.

dont look to god .. look to yourself ... its there right under your nose .

hope this helps .... FJ (a reformed dogma junkie - cold turkey)

For the most part I have to agree. I dont want to dismiss anyone's faith because for some it is an important part of their being. FOr me where its not I find truth & hope in flamejobs words. I dont worry about many things that god fearing people do, but am not worse off.

I don't believe that we can treat God as some cosmic ATM machine.
Place your request and He fills it!!  I do agree with
Mockingbird's comments on prayer.  When the child of a parent
says "I want (such and such) ..." yet that request is not
good or what the loving parent desires, as a parent, do you say
"Go ahead kid, knock yourself out" or do you say
"no, that is not good for you?"<br>
