Hey Shea,
The way that I cope with CF depends on the day. Although I have days in which I wallow in self-pity (not often, but when things are especially tough), a lot of time is also spent focusing on the positive things in life. For example, although I am not religious, every day I am thankful for my health, for my pets (babies!), boyfriend, and family & friends.
Even though your job is rough right now, you are on the way to a very fulfilling career doing what you love! That in itself is a great thing.
But overall it sounds like you have a lot going on right now... like some people suggested, there may be medical answers to some of your problems like seeing an endocrinologist and maybe some counciling or antidepressants would help you for the short- or long term? Not saying this is right for you, but might be worth considering.
When you say that no one at work cares about your health, I wonder if there's not more you could be doing to help that. I know that when I'm sick or not feeling well, I sort of expect people to pick up on that and treat me accordingly. People need to be told how you want to be treated before they can be blamed for treating you the wrong way.
The other thing about co-workers is that everyone deals differently with illness. They may figure if you were sick/not feeling well, then you wouldn't have come to work. It is difficult for the average person to understand the effects of long-term illness unless you explain it to them. And some people like to pretend like everything's fine. In general, I think you hold a lot of power to sway these peoples' actions.
Take care,
