For those of you who have done some travelling, i would like some info on what i need to do and know before going on an overseas trip with my family. We have a child with CF, and would love any input and/or helpfull information regarding travel/meds/insurance etc etc

the basics (not sure if I covered it in my blog) is if you are going to Europe, you'll need a transformer for your vest (unless you have a HillRom 104 or above) and compressor.

the only battery compressor i'd recommend is the eFlow unless your child isn't on pulmozyme or nebbed antibiotic than the PARI Trek is OK.

any other specific ?'s just ask <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

The vest case fits in most overhead compartments -- had to take a small 50 seater plane last january and had no issues. We had a backpack with DS' nebulizer, neb cups, a small lunchbox cooler with meds and an icepack, a baggy with his medications and vitamins in pill form... I did have note from his doctor, but have never had to use it.
