This is a GREAT point. I'm so so so glad you brought this up.
I bring about a week's worth of extra meds with me just in case.
I'll never forget my uncle was on vacation overseas when 9/11 happened. He wasn't able to fly back to the US on his regularly scheduled flight (9/12) and had to spend 3 extra days out of the country.
I know 9/11 is a rarity (or at least we hope), but this story reminds me of the worst case scenario - how amazing would it be if you had extra meds with you prepared just for an emergency like this?
