I have been running off and on for about a year. Honestly, I don't like running. I would much rather do X-biking,spinning or kick boxing. I know it's good to change things up every once in a while though to keep your body guessing. Recently it's become a goal to run farther because the doctors seem to care about that more.
I am currently able to run 3 miles on the treadmill at about a 13 mile pace. I pushed the other day was able to run a mile in 10 minutes. Outside, however, I am lucky to run a 1/4 of mile w/out absolutely dying. In Lubbock,TX our outside elements aren't always the best. Wind!!!
Is running outside difficult for anyone else? Is running on a treadmill just easier? I would like to run a marathon someday but it seems almost impossible to train outside where I live. Any suggestions?
