Yeah, I've heard it all too, from every side. Since I do mostly home IV's, this last hospitalization was my first in 6 years. One nurse insisted that because she had been on the respitory floor for 5 years and never seen me or heard my name, that it was impossible that I was a CFer. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-disgusted.gif" border="0">

Ummmm, yeah - OK, you're right and I'm wrong.

Ok everyone! I was back in the hospital for my Tune-up on my lungs and the doctor that was on for the day had
old info on CF. He's like (you don't have any infection so I don't see why you need IV meds right now) I am like I am in for a (TUNE-UP NOT BECAUSE OF AN INFECTION) I am in to keep my lungs at what there at!? Get it? No he did not get it. He's like who dx you with CF? I said my old inturnest and a grop of lung doctors!!! He's like well your CT does not show CF in your lungs! and I am like well good thats why I need meds IV to stay that way with my lungs!!!!! It made me soooo mad does anyone understand Cystic fibrosis anymore???
I know just how you all feel. Plus to top it all off, the RT said I had a infetcion she could here it in my lung but the doctor said my lungs where fine!???

I am soo sick of all this mess it has happened to me to meny times now.

I've had nurses ask me when I got CF. Man it gets old. But the worst one
was when a RT said she couldn't come in the room until I was done w/
my nebs, sais she was allergic to the mist. I felt like saying " Get a new job then moron"
