Update on Adam

So they did a ct scan on adam that shows some nodules (black) on the top of his lungs. Any guesses..the dr. did not want to say anything if fear of scaring me. well hello she did that...so any idea's let me know.

also having sinus surgery and they say it is a disaster.

Hey Ann,

I dont have any experience w/ lung nodules, i have had one in my esophagus (not sure if it is there anymore) and now i have one in my thyroid ..

Sometimes not knowing what it could mean is worse than knowing the facts.. Your imagination can run away w/ you. Just ask my family,friends and doctors , lol..

I would ask what it all means, could mean and any other question that you can think of to help you understand what is going on..

Heh, how are you doing?? Your message was a little confusing...which I completely understand...while being in the hospital, things can get that way. A few years back my Dr. saw a mass in my left lung and another in my right but it was smaller. She said it could be an aspergilloma ( fungus ball ) and it would take a while for the results of the culture to come back, so i had to sit and wait till it came back hoping to heck the masses she saw werent something worse. Sure enough it was an aspergilloma. I dont know if nodules look similar to a fungus ball in a cat scan, but if he does have that it is treated with anti-fungals. Some people completely get rid of them, but i havent as of yet. Either way i hope you find out soon whats going on with Adam and i wish him the best <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">
