I'm so happy that your mom has offered to take you in for a while. What a great solution as I'm sure she loves taking care of you (I know my mom does). Take care.

So good to hear about you going to your mom's. Are you scheduling airway clearance by the clock? Can you force yourself to exercise a little to workout your lungs..may not be a good idea if your docs have told you not too. I just know if I lay around all the time I get pneumonia.

Focus your energy. Exerted energy should be for productive reasons for your wellness and the baby's. Minimize useless trips to the kitchen. Save that energy for an exercise walk or airway clearance. I hope you don't mind me giving advice. We all just want to see the best possible outcome. Oh and I don't think you're really trying to say... "You're really not looking forward to..." We know you are and I think picturing a positive outcome is important. I'm picturing healthy pink Charlotte lungs pumping oxygen in and out effortlessly and a beautiful healthy baby being born. Try not to get caught up in all the medical stuff as difficult as it might be not too. I respect you so much and can't imagine being in your shoes. Keep up the good work mommy. You and baby are in my prayers.

Hey Lauren,
Thanks for your lovely caring post. You are lovely to have me in your prayers. They sure are working as i'm 2 days off 30 weeks now and baby still inside!
Everyone on here has been so lovely and a real support to me.
Unfortunately excercise is pretty much out of the question with my fractured ankle i'm using crutches which take up even more energy than walking! I de sat quite quickly when I move too and am already on 4lpm crutches with a trail of an O2 tube is quite a hazard too!
I am doing plently of physio so trying to keep my chest as clear as possible.
I do agree though if at all possible you should excercise, I did up till very recently and I do still a little now i try to get up and change rooms to stretch my legs and lungs to keep all the muscles working.
Thanks again so much for caring! Hope you and your gorgeous little one are well x x x x
