Hey all I think I better start paying Marjolein as my secutary!! LOL
Its lovely to come on here and see people generally interested, I wasn't too sure if I was boring people with all my updates but it's lovely to know you care thanks
Well as Marjolein says I fractured one of the small bones in my ankle as I didn't realise my foot was asleep when I got up to walk - OUCH!
Yesterday I was also at the hospital all day, my weight is down from my pre pregnancy weight including the weight of a 28 weeker inside me - so not too good.
The baby is having some growth problems from all the steroids his tummy and legs are small and head big (thats all his brains)
I had the steroid injection and the follow up one this morning my lovely midwife came out and gave it to me to save me going out again. So his lungs are covered now.
I def have to have him at the main hospital it will depend how well I am as to when I can transfer over to Maternity. I am really not looking forward to this.
Unfortunately my obs dr was not there - made us pretty mad as the dr we saw knew nothing about me at all so was frustrating as had to go through everything. I will be seen there again in 2 weeks so 7th May unless we run into problems. The good thing is we're not booking a date as yet so date could be moved forwads if i needed it or further away if I don't which we are really happy about as I want to go as long as poss
My chest clinc was ok is i'm now on 4lpm o2 and saturating aroun 94-96% thats good my co2 looked a little better yesterday which was positive. They didnt do my lungfunction as my consultant says there isn't much point in later pregnancy as its not reliable. I had bloods done which they'll ring with the results if need be.
He will see me again on the 7th too.
He was keen to have me in to guarantee I rested but I really want to hold out and come on with a broken ankle you can do very little except rest! Its so hard trying to get people to help look after abi you'd think we were asking the world.
Ed was off work today as there was a teacher strike so has been nice to have him home and his sister will help tomorrow morning and some friends with children will come by in the afternoon so they can help. Mon and Thurs next week we are covered by my mum but stuck the other days :S
It is too short notice for a nanny although i've posted an advert online.
Abi can't go to a nursery because of the chicken pox risk with me on high dose steroids!
Thanks again so much guys I have some pics I was going to upload but can't upload them
Anyway I hope this finds everyone well here's to a couple of stress/disaster free healthy weeks and get this little man growing
Lots of love x
