Thanks again Marjolein,
I am still at home - as Marjolein says i'm reluctant to go in now as I want to go as long as possible.
They haven't booked my c-section we're seeing how it goes so could be earlier or as I'd like later which is good as nothing is set in stone.
I'm up at the hospital all day tomorrow at the Maternity hospital in the morning to see the obs to have a scan and i'm having steroid injection to mature the babies lungs and have to go back thursday morning for the second as you have to have 2 24 hours apart. Then tomorrow afternoon over to the main hospital for chest clinic.
I'm now using 4l o2 and the co2 headaches are not as bad. The only problem we're going to have with staying home is that my oxygen concentrator only goes to 5l per min.
The baby is moving round lots which is so lovely and reasuring to feel. We're ready now everything I think is ready for when the little man comes.
Thanks for the kangaroo care website I have shown this to Ed (my other half) too as I won't be in the same hospital as I'm too sick to deliver at the Maternity hospital(they don't have an ITU) so i'll be in the main hospital where the c-section will take place and baby will go to Maternity to special care and then when i'm stable enough I can go to Maternity. Its not going to be easy but I don't have choice they want what is safest for baby and me at the end of the day and i can se this however frustrating it might be!
Abi was born at 35 weeks and didn't need any special care so this could be really tough going. But we've got to be strong.
Sending all my love to you lovely ladies out there. I'll let you know how we get on tomorrow it'll be nice to see baby again <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">
