vesting upside-down

Hi everyone,

Has anyone every tried vesting upside-down? My spouse (who is an RT) recommended trying that to see if it helped. The only problem I can think of with that is making sure that the vest is not touching anything because it seems to not work as well when I lean against something (i.e. chair). And I think it was only made and tested to be used at an upright position. So I don't think it would really work, but just checking to see if anyone has ever tried that before.

I have put the vest on backwards and tried that. It was too much trouble to do that way<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> I kind of liked the coverage though. No, not tried it upside down. I would think that would be very difficult to handle.

You are going for Postural drainage while vesting.
Sounds like it could help. I lay head down on a slant board.

It may sound strange, But You could put a pillow in the
floor, lean off the bed with top of head on pillow while vesting making sure the vest is free
to do it's job. You may need help getting down and getting up
when you start coughing.

Just a thought on working out the mechanic's of vesting while draining.
