I am curious as to who needs glasses. It doesnt matter if its for distance or reading. No real point to this except for my own curiosity!

Do you wear glasses for distance, reading or other?</b>

Do you wear them all the time if for distance or other?</b>

How old were you when you first got them?</B>

Has your vision worsened since first getting glasses?</b>

Do you have CFRD? If so did you at the time of first needing glasses?</B>

Distances, though some close stuff too. My eye sight is pretty bad.

Yes.

How old were you when you first got them?
10, maybe 11

Yes, post tx meds have worsened that though.

Do you have CFRD? If so did you at the time of first needing glasses?
No

Does anyone in your family wear glasses (CF or not, but specify anyway) and if so since what age and for reading, distance etc?
Yes, almost everybody in my family has had glasses prescribed at a young age (10 or so)

Has anyone been told they have enlarged optic nerves? If so has anything other then checkups been required?
No

Has anyone dealt with Glaucoma?
No

Has anyone tried contacts? If so, do you find a problem do to the extra salt we deal with??
Yes I wear contacts 95% of the time.
No problems, just make sure your hands are clean before taking them out or putting them in.

yes, and was diagnosed with it about the year before I got glasses.

My Sister and most the females on My Moms side of the family, they all needed glasses as kids though.

My mother does and my father does. My mother has them for distance, and my dad has bifocals. My sister also does, I believe just for a bit of clarity.
