Do you wear them all the time if for distance or other? all the time

Has your vision worsened since first getting glasses? yes, before surgery

Do you have CFRD? If so did you at the time of first needing glasses? no CFRD

Does anyone in your family wear glasses (CF or not, but specify anyway) and if so since what age and for reading, distance etc?
Mom for distance (I think since teen or earlier) now for reading, too; brother for distance since 10

If so hasHas anyone been told they have enlarged optic nerves? anything other then checkups been required?
not that I know of

Has anyone dealt with Glaucoma? not in my family

Has anyone tried contacts? If so, do you find a problem do to the extra salt we deal with??
I wore contacts all the time from age 15 to 26. I noticed they got dry later in the day, but I think that's normal. Not sure if it's related to salt. I had lasik surgery when I was 26 - THE BEST THING I HAVE EVER DONE! Love my eyesight now! Hasn't changed in 5 years.

Do you wear glasses for distance, reading or other? I have reading glasses but rarely wear them

Do you wear them all the time if for distance or other? no

How old were you when you first got them? Late 30's , although i was diagnosed with astigmatism years before, i never really had any problem with it , nor required glasses.

Has your vision worsened since first getting glasses? yes , i noticed this past year i am having trouble reading things as close as usual or when writing, i have to sit back to see what i am writing clearly. Time to go to the eye Dr.

Do you have CFRD? If so did you at the time of first needing glasses? I've had diabetes for 27 years now.

Does anyone in your family wear glasses (CF or not, but specify anyway) and if so since what age and for reading, distance etc?
Mom wears reading glasses got them in her late 50's or 60's i think, and my dad wears glasses now also, got them in his 60's i believe.

Has anyone dealt with Glaucoma? My Grandmother

Has anyone tried contacts? If so, do you find a problem do to the extra salt we deal with??

Do you wear glasses for distance, reading or other? Yes, distance.

Do you wear them all the time if for distance or other? No, just for driving, meetings, etc.

How old were you when you first got them? About 10.

Has your vision worsened since first getting glasses? Yes but only slightly. I'm still only -1.25 and -1.75.

Do you have CFRD? If so did you at the time of first needing glasses? No.

Does anyone in your family wear glasses (CF or not, but specify anyway) and if so since what age and for reading, distance etc? My mum and dad both wear glasses for both distance and reading. My mum had glasses from when she was a young child, and they got so bad that she had surgery to correct them.

Has anyone been told they have enlarged optic nerves? If so has anything other then checkups been required? No.

Has anyone dealt with Glaucoma? No, but I have a tiny cataract which hasn't gotten any bigger since I was 10.

Has anyone tried contacts? If so, do you find a problem do to the extra salt we deal with?? I've tried them and can't use them. I'm fine with putting things in my eye, but they make me want to scratch my eyes out within the hour I was wondering about salt too... hrmm.
