Hi!
Doctors found that my vitamin D was very low. What kind of regimin are you guys on for vitamin D?

BTW I came across this article about the subject where researchers who tested a vitamin D repletion regimen said it was "strikingly ineffective"

Most people just take supplements like ADEKS or something similar along with additional Vitamin D supplements. They don't help me much though. My levels are almost always close to non-existent.

I take vitamin D seperately from a multivitamin since my levels are always so ridiculously low. I noticed in the article they took 50,000IU per week .... personally my dietician has me take 50,000IU 3x per week, so maybe that has something to do with it. My levels are still low, but it seemed to help a little. Oh and I've also been diagnosed previously with Osteopenia, just for background.

What do your docs recommend you take? Did you talk to a dietician?
