My first IUI was unsuccessful as well. For whatever reason, I did not have my period until 20 days post IUI, and just kept hoping so I feel your pain. We are trying again this month, but won't be able to do it after that for quite some time if at all, so I'll be sending positive thoughts your way if you'll send some mine! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif" border="0">)

Sorry to hear it's not a positive - the suspense was killing me though! My first IUI was not a positive either and it was soooo disappointing. I kept running things through my head like, Will I even be able to get pregnant? How long will it take? How much of this disappointment can I put myself through? I know it's extremely frustrating, but hang in there. Keep in mind that it doesn't usually happen on the first try. IUI statistics show that it usually takes approx 6 tries before an IUI takes (although those statistics are for people with known fertility problems). My cycles were extremely long and I had to wait a really long time in between IUI's. I think my first cycle that I did IUI was like 48 days or something ridiculous like that. I'm surprised I was even able to get pregnant so easily with my wacky cycles, but I did on my 2nd try! So hang in there.
