just my two cents:

you're using too many stereotypes to classify him as gay. I did drama for 6 years and therefore love show tunes. I talk a lot with my hands because it gives more energy. I am not gay. where he lives means nothing about him. If i moved to a completely random part of town, it wouldn't be BECAUSE i fit in with their likes/sexuality. I understand how you don't want her to get hurt, but you can't use stereotypes to figure out if something is true. I would let your friend worry about it. If she is really that close to him, she would know.

Now I see how rumors start. Like the old game of "Telephone." Fred likes Madonna, a gay icon. Fred likes Madonna because she's from his home state of Michigan. Fred likes Steven Seagal who is also from Michigan. I believe other than their birthplaces, they have absolutely nothing in common except Fred likes both. We were talking about sterotypes and I remarked that it was interesting that Fred liked both since they couldn't be any more different. So we know that Fred's taste is not steriotypical of anything. Except perhaps he is steriotypical of people from Michigan who like celebrities from Michigan.

And even I knew someone who auditioned for him and he said he needed to see her undressed to see if she would be "right" for the part. She told him she failed to see how that was necessary and walked out. So Brad, I don't know if this is good news or bad news for you.
