Wow! Lots of negativity going on here right now!

This post is not to anyone specifically-but it seems like lately there have been a lot of posts bashing other people's thoughts, statements, etc...and has given me a really negative feeling about these CF forums.
Everyone is entitled to post about how they feel without being bashed by others!  I just think things can be said a little nicer. After all, we ALL have CF and we all have our good and bad days, right? And we are all entitled to them and should be able to share (and others should be able to respond) without it causing a big blowup!
Can't we all just get along?? <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> I guess if we did the world would be a boring place.

I believe everyone is allowed their own opinions including calling people out if someone is personally offended by something someone says. What I don't agree with is the issue with many people responding which I think you are referring to as a blow up. I think a healthy forum has a post every few months that is thought provoking and causes hundreds of views within hours. To me that means we have people logged in or at least checking in which is important because when we have a question it's important to know there are many eyes on it even if only a few respond. One thing is for sure if responses are off base then people are sure to respond and let the OP know. I love this site!

I agree with you to some degree Marci - unfortunately the anonymity of the internet makes people much braver than they truly would be in person. Regardless of what people say rarely ever would someone be blatantly rude when face to face with someone. It is the way of people, it is something that we need to accept in the forum that we interact, people often come here when they are at their worst and they take out their issues in various ways.

Not pointing fingers but just saying. Take it all in stride and lets try not to get in an uproar over something that in the grand scheme of things is trivial. The people that irritate us on this site we don't really need to deal with - you can block people. I can't remember quite how to do it, but I have done it myself with some people that I found mildly obnoxious.

Maybe one of the mods can post something on how to block or ignore people on the site if we find them offensive. It can help to alleviate issues that don't really need to be issues.

Either way not trying to start anything with this post just putting some ideas out there. Everywhere you go there are going to be personality types that just don't mesh - steer clear of each other and I am sure everyone will be fine <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> that's all I'm saying.

What needs to happen is there needs to be a solution like Yahoo! where answers can be voted upon. Then, only the top answers are at the beginning of the post. If a post gets too many negative votes, it is hidden, unless you choose to show it.

You are absolutely right Marci !!  But in the meantime dont let anyones bad behavior ruin anything for you..   Sometimes ppl just dont think before they speak .  I try to let it go in one ear & out the other lol

You are absolutely right Marci !! But in the meantime dont let anyones bad behavior ruin anything for you.. Sometimes ppl just dont think before they speak . I try to let it go in one ear & out the other lol
