I just wanted to say, DON'T kick yourself over declining the screen during pregnancy. I DID get screened, was told by my nurse practioner that it was negative (it wasn't), and then Maeve was diagnosed after her newborn screen showed elevated...

*When my water broke with Maeve, it was stained with meconium. Nothing was ever said about it at birth, but later I found out that can be a sign of CF.
*She had the yucky mucousy looking stools, which I had pointed out to the pediatrician, she just told me it was probably from breastfeeding...
