Im 19 and have a sister also with Cf who is 16. Both me and her have cultured pseudemonas ever since i can remember, and we have always been very healthy. I no children who are alot worse than me and dont culture pseudemonas at all.

As of a couple of months ago i didnt do any exercise at all, now i go to the gym 3 times a week and feel alot better for it. As for goin out, i dont avoid smoky areas and am in the pub pretty much every weekend, and have more than just a social drink. Im 19 and pretty much fit and healthy.

thanx, yeh i just always call it Dnase. i bin on it bout 5 yrs, n i recommend it, ive never had any side effects and find it really good at helping to clear my chest. i had to have trials to prove that it would be beneficial for me to have it, but still it took a while before my local doctor...

hey. yeh broken blood vessels. i pass an N-G tube for feeds a night and i blow blood, due to breakin blood vessels. ive been told the ones in ur nose are very fragile. i dnt think its anything to owrry about. but if you think its excessive then speak to her doc bout it

Well wenever ive needed it i took prednisone, but just for a couple of weeks and then stopped, wen inflammation goes down. I took it for bout 2 yrs wen i was younger but my doc didnt like me being on it, so i was like weaned off it. I just take a steroid inhaler now - Seretide

I just lokked at Emily pic of her port and mine looks nothing like that, u cant even see it, even if i am just wearin underwear. It best thing i had done ive only had it in for 6 months and all you can see is the scars from where i had it put in, but therl go soon aswel.
