I dont know about the Seattle area per-say but in some states especially in SC they have a medicaid type that is for children with long term illness or disability..here I think it is called Tefra as well as in some other states...since your son has already been through 2 major surgeries as well...

Shawn: i hope you dont mind me askign but when your wife had her testing at her 1st OB, was that a normal test they did on their patients? I had not heard about it before and was just curious....wonder if i should go back to my OB and find out if it was something they tested for.... I have 4...

Hi alexsmom: we are still waiting the results from our Ambry amplified test, but I saw yo mentioned the oily stools... my son is pancreatic insuffiecient, even if they find no genetic CF mutations, he still has the pancreas issues....he is now on the pancreatic enzymes and MAN DOES IT HELP...
