I've also gotten my dressing wet before with no such drama. I wipe it all down really well with alcohol as you did and replace the dressing. It's actually happened to me several times--it's a hard area to cover effectively!--and there have never been any bad results.

Jeana, I think it's okay. Mine has done that before as well with no issue. I was taught to always check for a blood return before starting meds and haven't had any issues in the 4+ years I've used it. Hope you feel better soon!
