I've definately tried other types of enzymes in the past and Creon is the one that has never given me any trouble. My other reason for being apprehensive about trying to switch is because my CF doctor is a pulmonologist and does not have a lot of knowledge in gastro problems. I go to a seperate...

I have been on Creon 20 at 13 pills with each meal for the longest time and it doesn't give me any trouble. It seems like I've been reading on the forums more and more people on Zenpep. I know that it decreases the amount of pills one must take. Can anyone give me their experience with Zenpep...

I wasn't using it before the Cayston at first but the nurse practitioner told me that it would help it from not feeling so thick to inhale if I used the Albuterol first.

I definately agree with the others on this one. I got a Medical Alert bracelet for myself. One of the other perks about having it is that you fill out a form which lists all of your medications. In case of an emergency they call the 1800 number listed, give your ID number and the EMT/hospital...

I've been having some sinus trouble myself lately. I had gone to the ENT and it looks like surgery is in my near future. But I know what you're talking about with trying to avoid surgery for as long as possible. I'm taking the LSATs in two weeks and so I've been avoiding going forth with any...

Thank you all so much for your entries, it has definately curbed some feelings of anxiety. I see the ENT on October 6 so I will find out then what will be happening. I'll update once I find out!

I would strongly suggest speaking to the CF center Social worker who should be able to help you more. Do you mean Medicare or Medicaid? Are you 65 or older? Medicare kicks in when you're 65. If you've been declared disabled and that is the purpose of you getting the benefits, I'm wondering if...
