I agree with the above posters. I think that they should show us doing our treatments, etc, and that we have lives outside of our CF.

I react to all smells just about. It sucks. When I was a teenager, cologne did not bother me. Now it does.

Last night, I did my vest, and I itched my stomach so bad that I scratched so hard that I ended up bleeding. I had no idea that I was even scratching that hard, now it is scabbed over. I really should wear mittens or something! Does anyone else do this?

As an adult ,I don't deny my condition like I used to. I am more comfortable with it, and don't get as upset about it as I used to. It has made me happier. Now, I still choose carefully who I tell, but I realize it's not the end of the world if someone found out.

My ex-inlaws were horrible. They would think I'd be offended by everything. It was ridiculous. What made it ridiculous, is that they would assume everything would offend me, so they'd walk on egg shells, but then they'd say stupidlyatrocious stuff that contradicted their fears of offending me...

A medical transcriptionist is a good idea. My husband's mom does that, and she makes excellent money. Just be careful though, take good care of your wrists and arms. She has those support things that go by her mouse and keyboard to keep her from getting carpel tunnels or however it is spelled...

I never had any luck with my belly button ring. It stayed infected, no matter what I did to take care of it. I think my stomach swelling and going back down had something to do with it. I could be wrong, but it just seems that way.

I agree, too. I know that it must be hard, but to me it's a little insulting to us.

Around 12000 a year I think... How many pills can each of you take at one time? I can take like 10. I can't take each one of mine seperately, it gags me. I have to do it all at once.
