In vitro studies have shown that it works on all gating mutations. It may also work on other mutations (specifically Class IV & V mutations) but studies have not been published.

I use the Avent Iq24, but I paid like $60 for it...maybe they don't make it anymore? I also have a Nuk baby bottle sterilizer that was included with my first shipment of Cayston - that works too but the Avent holds more stuff. I think any steam baby bottle sterilizer would work.

Alisha, I am so sorry you are dealing with this! I'm glad Jenny was able to give you some advice and I hope that helps, otherwise I agree with everyone that going to the ER associated with the CF center would be best. Thinking of you!

According to a quick search on Google and the prescribing information in my box of Pulmozyme, your OB is incorrect and it is a Pregnancy Category B. I would definitely take it during pregnancy.
