    Moving Port

No, I don't think that's okay! Mine wobbles around a bit, but that sounds like a lot of movement. It should be in a "pocket" and stay fairly stable.

Med Side Effects...worse as you age??

Yes, that's been the case with me. When I was younger, I seemed to be able to take about any kind of medication with no problems, but definitely not so now. Other than Bactrim, I'm not allergic--just have very miserable side effects.

Brown tongue - side effect of meds??

This is interesting because I've had that problem several times with no real explanation. I was told the same thing--white might be from the antibiotic, but brown? My primary care doctor gave me some solution for it and told me to just keep trying to brush a lot of it off. Nothing really...

    First time with home IV

Glad to hear that worked out for you. It surprises me that it's only every 12 hours, though. I've never done any IVs for PA that weren't 6 or 8 hours. For MRSA, I've done Vanco which is only every 12--it is much easier that way! Home IVs are definitely the way to go!

    Swollen, stiff, painful fingers/hands

Are you on cipro or levaquin? They can cause very severe joint pain and swelling like that. Otherwise, I don't know. I've heard that arthritis is sometimes associated with cf but have no experience with that myself. In fact, I'm a pianist, so certainly hope it's not terribly normal.

    pancreas?

Yes, everything's been working fine, although I've been slightly constipated. Now, kidney stone issues are common in my family, although I've never had that problem myself. Would that be the correct area? Gall bladder was the doctor's first question also--she asked me if I was sure it was...
