    more energy

Coffee is my go-to energy boost. I love it, I drink it, and it definitely gives me a nice burst of energy. Of course, there is no substitute for getting a good night's rest, and when I feel very run down, I listen to my body and allow myself to nap or just sit down for a while. I've also found...

    bearer of bad news :(

missT: i feel the same way you do. I am shocked. I even posted a question about this on another forum. I just don't get how they could be fine (hanging in there, complying, under close care of the clinic) and then that's it, from one day to the next- gone. Was there NOTHING more the doctors...

    CF Outreach

I'm wondering if anyone has any advice about giving talks to medical students about CF to educate, inform, and help raise awareness. I did this a few times when I lived in Maryland, at University of Maryland School of Medicine, and I really enjoyed it. I now live in Southern California, and...

What do you do with your life?

I think this is a really important and tough question. It is an issue I have grappled with all of my adult life. And I think as the adult CF population continues to grow, it is an issue that the clinic social workers will have to look at more closely and spend more time addressing with each...

Need some symptom advice-what is this??

I think Melissa is right on. The same exact thing happens to me (achiness and feeling very cold) right before/around my period. I always take my temp and it never registers as a fever, eventhough it feels like I am running a high fever. Menstruation definitely affects my experience of CF and...
