We use the Pari neb cups also and I boil them for 10 minutes after washing them in hot soapy water. Recently I had problems with the neb cup we use for pulmozyme - they got plugged up and the hose would pop off. Figured I must have gotten a faulty neb cup 'cuz I threw it away and the next one was fine. And even though I boil them before every use, after treatment times I rinse them off with hot water before tossing them in the sink-- sometimes Tobi, if left setting really gums things up.
We neb 3 times a day, pulmozyme once and tobi twice. So rather than boiling nebs several times a day, I just do it once a day and just make sure we have enough neb cups to use for each treatment, each med.
I do know people have suggested using the steam bags to sterilize breast pump parts in the microwave. They're reusable.
